РЕЗИМЕ: Друштва се најјасније огледају у начину на који подржавају своје најрањивије чланове. У многим локалним заједницама млади који напуштају систем социјалне заштите суочавају се са недостатком могућности за осамостаљивање и достојанствено запослење, док деци са сметњама у развоју често недостају доступне и системски повезане услуге подршке. Ово истраживање развија модел социјалне иновације који повезује социјалну политику, образовање, локалну економију и заједницу. Рад испитује могућност трансформације постојећег објекта у центру града, на обали реке Ђетиње, у инклузивни центар који обједињује два комплементарна програма: дневни центар за уметнички и моторички развој деце са сметњама у развоју и инклузивни ресторан као простор за обуку, стицање радног искуства и запошљавање младих корисника социјалне заштите. Синергијом ових активности развија се самoодржив модел који доприноси смањењу социјалне изолације, развоју емпатије и јачању социјалне кохезије. Центар постаје пример одрживог и инклузивног простора у коме се подршка претвара у прилику, а брига о другима у снагу заједнице.

ABSTRACT: Societies are best reflected in the ways they support their most vulnerable members. In many local communities, young people leaving the social welfare system face limited opportunities for independent living and dignified employment, while children with developmental disabilities often lack accessible and well-connected support services. This research develops a model of social innovation that links social policy, education, the local economy, and the community. The study explores the potential transformation of an existing building in the city center, on the bank of the Đetinja River, into an inclusive center that integrates two complementary programs: a day center for the artistic and motor development of children with developmental disabilities, and an inclusive restaurant as a space for training, gaining work experience, and employing young beneficiaries of social protection. Through the synergy of these activities, a self-sustaining model is developed that contributes to reducing social isolation, fostering empathy, and strengthening social cohesion. The center thus becomes an example of a sustainable and inclusive space where support is transformed into opportunity and care for others into a source of community strength.
